Steven R. Jensen

 Steve has been in general  civil litigation practice throughout his 33 year career in the law.  His  emphasis has been construction defect, professional liability,  environmental, water rights, land planning and development and design  matters.  He is Of Counsel to Wendelstein Law Group.

​Steve's background also includes insurance defense  (personal injury, premises liability, and general negligence) and  business litigation (contract and administrative claims).  Steve manages  cases from inception through conclusion, including appellate aspects.   He has prepared numerous cases on appeal and has argued before the  California Supreme Court.

A lecturer to various organizations,  including guest lectures at several local colleges, Steve is highly in  demand for his lectures on risk reduction and control related  to professional engineering and geologic services.

At California  State University Northridge, Steve was Pi Sigma Alpha-Political Science  Honor Society; Dean List- 1981 and on the Board of Directors of the  University Student Union 1982 - 1983.  He graduated with a BA in History  and Political Science.  At Southwestern University School of Law, where  he obtained his JD, Steve was in the Moot Court Honors Program, Jessup  International Law Competition and he was part of a national championship  team in 1985.  

Admitted to practice before all courts of the  State of California, Steve is also admitted to practice in the United  States District Court, Central District of California.  He is a member  of the American Bar Association.

​Steven's wife, Stacey, is also  an attorney with experience in general and family law practice.   Their daughter possess a master's degree and their son is a college  senior.  Steve enjoys hiking and all forms of outdoor activities and has  been a youth sports volunteer in a variety of capacities for many  organizations.
